Welcome to OUR SITE, DOG OF BORDEAUX PLACE OF PARADISE..

I am Maria Manuel Gonçalves, passionate, lover and breeder of this breed. We live in the oldest village in Portugal, Ponte de Lima and our kennel is located at Paraíso, hence the name of our affix.

I always had a fascination for large breed dogs, I already had portuguese breeds, Rafeiro do Alentejo dog, Castro Laboreiro dog, Serra da Estrela dog, I also adopted dogs from hunters that no longer wanted them like Pointer, Cocker and Portuguese Pondengo and started my breeding with Retriever do Labrador, my passion from 25 years ago, today I still have my soul mate, Maria, a black labrador Retriever with 15 years old.

11 years ago I was undecided between a Dogue de Bordeaux and a Neapolitan Mastiff, and I visited a Spanish breeder of the breed Dogue de Bordeaux and it was love at first sight.

And our story began with B'Afonso de Louzan Pets and Alice-II from GrandBordeaux House...

Although I love all my dogs, the Dogue De Bordeaux is my life! Being that it conciliates with my professional activity.
We make exhibitions all over the world, dedicating many hours to my dogs, our friends and to all the private persons who have acquired specimens of our house which now belong to our family.
